At Miracle Hunger and Trauma Solutions, we believe giving should feel personal. Every donation supports real people with real stories, and we’re committed to building genuine connections through full transparency. This page is our way of sharing some of those stories—introducing the individuals and families whose lives can be touched by your generosity, and celebrating the human connections that make our work possible.

She came into this world wrapped in the fragile warmth of a family her father was fighting hard to build. A brave man, he labored day after day in the dusty quarries, digging for gold so his wife and newborn daughter could have a better future. He could never have imagined how cruelly fate would turn against him.
One morning, as the sun rose over the mine, the ground gave way. A violent landslide buried him beneath the heavy earth. He never came home. In an instant, his life was gone — and with it, the dreams he carried for his family. He left behind a grieving wife… and a tiny baby girl who was just seven days old.
But tragedy was not finished with Neema. Only a month later, her mother also passed away, leaving this innocent child completely alone in the world — an orphan before she could even speak her first word or take her first step.
Neema’s story is the story of many children in the Democratic Republic of Congo — children who have lost everything before they’ve even had a chance to live.
Today, you can rewrite the rest of Neema’s story.
Your kindness can put food on her plate, keep her in school, and surround her with the love she needs to grow.
Please don’t scroll past. Be the reason she smiles again.

He lives in Luziba area in Bukavu, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. His story is one of heartbreak, courage, and survival.
Alexis lost both of his parents in a devastating flood that struck Kalehe — a disaster that swept away not only their home but also the life they once knew. In one terrible moment, everything was gone.
With no one left to care for them, Alexis and his sisters began sleeping in the forest, seeking shelter wherever they could. When the nights grew too cold and the hunger too heavy, they walked for miles until they reached near Bukavu, then received help with transportation to Bukavu — a big city filled with strangers, uncertainty, and struggle.
There, life has not been easy. Every day, Alexis and his sisters go from door to door, asking for food to survive. They wear the same clothes for days, sometimes weeks, and dream of the warmth of a real home.
“I would love to go to school,” Alexis says softly, “but I don’t have the means to do so.”
Still, his eyes carry a quiet strength — the kind that refuses to give up, even in the face of loss.
Alexis’s story is the story of countless orphans in the Democratic Republic of Congo — children who have lost everything, yet still cling to hope.
Today, you can be the hope Alexis needs.
Your kindness can give him food, clothes, and the chance to go back to school — to dream again.
Please don’t look away. Be the reason Alexis believes in tomorrow.
